Books will be available for pickup, delivery, or shipped the first week of the month starting September 2024. You will receive an email once it's available.

The picks will hopefully feel like an extension of our store -- a compelling title you may or may not have heard of. For small press titles, expect to get a mix of new independent hits and looked-over gems. It will be a great chance to keep up with your writer's favorite writers.
Non-fiction titles may be political or art and music-focused. This summer, our two favorites in the category were "When the Clock Broke" by John Ganz and "Big Fiction" by Dan Sinykin.

We can't do substitutions on book of the month titles, but we DO offer a 5% discount to subscribers and are more than happy to include the additional title in your monthly pick-up or delivery.

Yes! Subscription permitting. As long as the program grows and allows us to devote more time to it, we'd love to get more into sci-fi, children's books, philosophy -- whatever else you think we're missing!

Lot 49 Books does not offer returns, but we offer store buyback in cash or store credit.

We've included a lot of extras in the subscription price -- discord, two pick-up locations as well as FREE local delivery -- and we think it will feel more than worth it.
