Folger Poetry Series: Handwritten John Ashbery poem and Anne Carson drawing (photocopy)

Ashbery's side features "A Mood of Quiet Beauty" handwritten and signed (photo copy). Carson's is a felt pen drawing titled "Short Talk On Who You Are" initialed "ac." For readings Folger often had writers hand write pieces to be photocopied and given out to attendees. We find few listings online of these pieces on the second hand market. A unique memento from a night featuring two of America's most highly regarded poets.
